We are a charity based in North Oxfordshire committed to delivering treatment to those suffering from addictions and, alcohol dependency, and their families in our community.  Since our foundation in 2006, Special and Different have developed a unique flexible approach to alcohol dependency and addiction treatment. We know that when drinking and using, alcoholics/addicts are in the grip of a compulsion that changes their personality and takes away all the qualities that would otherwise allow them to lead successful lives.  Untreated, addiction gets progressively worse, never better.         

We do not judge, we treat each individual holistically, with dignity and respect and, as an organisation and as individuals we live by the principles embodied in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
